JaWar -Reggaton is a large music movement in culture that got its’ start the same way that Hip Hop did. Yet, Reggaton isn’t that big in the U.S. right now compared to South America and in other parts of the world. I mention this because Reggaton is fused with Hip Hop and a number of other genres and styles of music. It was born from a need of self-expression yet is immersed in its’ own culture. Perhaps this may be the same spirit and inspiration that Ghana artist and music producers may draw from that they may be proud of. After all, I would hate to travel all the way to Ghana only to hear music that sounds just like what I could get in the U.S. that wouldn’t be any fun.

Additionally, you may want to find music magazine sites to get familiar with some of the equipment that may help improve your sound. However, I’d strongly suggest using traditional instrumentation in your music as well, as there’s nothing better than that organic sound that is enhanced by software.
